Oefen met je kind tijdens de vakantie
Maak het prettig en leerrijk!
Begin september is er herhaling. Voor kinderen die snel vergeten, is herhalen vaak frustrerend. Ze weten het immers niet meer. Oefen dan vooral eind augustus. Bij kinderen die moeilijk automatiseren kun je beter heel regelmatig en kort oefenen zowel in juli als augustus.
Gebruik een lintmeter. Elk oefenmoment geeft recht op een stapje vooruit. Elk vijftal of tiental geeft recht op een extraatje bijv. een ijsje, een dagje niet oefenen, wat extra schermtijd, samen bakken,… Bedenk samen leuke beloningen.
Voor kleuters
- Op een speelse manier rekenen met je kind
- 20 leermomenten tijdens het tafeldekken.
- Samen met je kind het fonemisch bewustzijn (werken met klankjes en letters) online oefenen.
- Voorlezen blijft een bijzonder moment dat ook heel veel effect heeft bij het kind. Zoek een voorleesbuur, voorleeszus of voorleesopa. Peuters die elke dag minstens een kwartier worden voorgelezen, scoren later op school zelfs beter op rekenen. Bekijk deze 15 voorleestips.
Lagere school
Op leestrainer.nl vind je een hele variatie oefeningen van 1ste tot 6de leerjaar. Het is een Nederlandse site: groep 3 is gelijk aan ons 1ste leerjaar. Kies wat je wil oefenen: begrijpend lezen, rekenen, woordenschat …. Veel leuke en leerrijke oefeningen die je ook tijdens het schooljaar kan gebruiken. Zowel op school als thuis heel bruikbaar. Je kan heel wat laten voorlezen en er zijn veel prenten. Dus ook bruikbaar voor zwakke lezers. Kies bij zwakke lezers één leerjaar lager.
Je kan ook samen met je kind YouTube-video’s van Eureka bekijken en nadoen. Voor een handig overzicht kan je terecht op de eurekaleuven website. Via het verzameldocument kan je snel naar een geschikte video gaan.
Neem zeker het materiaal dat je ziet erbij, zo kan je leuk samen oefenen en heb je een groot leereffect!
CleverKids is gedurende de volledige vakantie gratis te gebruiken. Zo oefen je in enkele klikken op rekenen en/of taal.
Vreemde talen
Uit onderzoek blijkt dat kinderen al meer dan 1000 woorden Engels kennen voordat ze Engelse les krijgen. Voor kinderen met dyslexie is dit vaak niet zo. Zij hebben meer herhaling en lestijd nodig.
